Arrival Time
Our service times are 9:15 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings and 7 on Wednesday nights. Coffee's available and children's check-in is open on Sundays at 10:45.

From flip-flops to wingtips, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress it up—we'll be happy to see you.
Worship Style
We are blessed to enjoy a variety of music. You can expect mostly modern worship accompanied by an occasional hymn.
Teaching Style
Every worship service and Sunday school class involves a Biblically-focused teaching with Jesus at the center of our message.

Pastor Stephen and Jennifer Schlabach started Shining Light Church over 25 years ago. They have a passion for reaching their city with the gospel and have a gift for making each person they encounter feel loved and accepted.

ABOUT US
The Trinity
One God, who exists in three Persons — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy and just.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired and accurate. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
Salvation
Salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it results in works pleasing to God.
Baptism
Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of God and a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
Communion
The Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
Victorious Living
God wants to transform, heal and provide for us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.

Weekend Services
We hope you get the opportunity to join us for one of our weekend services. Our services start at 9:15AM and 10:45AM. Kids ministry is only offered at the 10:45AM service. Come early to enjoy a latte on us and enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the water. We can't wait to see you!
Midweek Service
We offer a midweek service every Wednesday at 7pm. This hour long service is an awesome opportunity for anyone in the middle of the week to come and hear an uplifting word.
Youth Service
Our SLC Youth ministry is geared for students from 6th to 12th grade. SLC Youth is held every Wednesday at the church from 7PM-8PM. This hour service includes: live worship, a message by one of our student pastors, and a time of fellowships and fun.
Young Adults Service
Our young adults service is for anyone ages 18-30. The young adults meet on the third Friday of every month. If you are looking for a community to get plugged into, look no further. For more information, check our events page to find out more details.
